Dear Friends:
Thank you, once again, for your continued support of the Branford Microfund. As a result, we were able to provide seven news loans this year totaling $20,157 to members of our community. We currently have 24 active loans, and three people successfully paid off their loans last year.
We participated in a number of successful, community events in the past 12 months, and it was heartening to see your support in attending these, lending a helping hand, and contributing to our ongoing efforts.
We’re excited to be one of the 38 (and counting) local nonprofits and town agencies whose volunteer opportunities are now listed on the new BranfordVolunteers.org. If you're interesting in joining our efforts, please visit their website for opportunities to help!
We remain confident that assisting and supporting neighbors in need here in our small town can, indeed, change the world!
